Minuter
Minuter provides optional time cues while you work:
a tick each second, low beeps on each second, a minute chime,
end-of-minute beeps, and (optionally) spoken seconds.
All features are controlled from a single settings dialog.
Open Minuter settings
- NVDA+Windows+Backspace: Open the Minuter settings dialog.
Settings
- Tick each second: plays a short tick sound every second.
- Low beep each second: a subtle low beep each second.
- Ding each minute: plays a chime at the start of each minute.
- Beep at end of minute: plays a beep near the end of each minute.
- Speak seconds: announces the current seconds count.
Sound files
Minuter ships with sound samples in the sounds folder (for example tick.wav and minute.wav).
If you replace those files inside the add-on package, your custom sounds will be used.
Troubleshooting
- If you do not hear any cues, open settings and ensure at least one option is enabled.
- If cues stop after changing audio devices, toggle an option off and on again to restart audio.
