Date Parser lets you type a date, a plain-English date expression, or a time duration and get back the resolved result. Results are shown in a copy-friendly read-only edit field.

3 Mondays prior 3rd Monday before today Words such as prior, before, back, ago, ahead, later, and from now are accepted.

tomorrow current date plus 1 day Returns tomorrow's date.
yesterday current date minus 1 day Returns yesterday's date.
next year same month and day, one year ahead Useful when you want today's date but in the next year.
last year same month and day, one year ago Useful when you want today's date but in the previous year.
end of month last day of the current month Useful when you need the calendar boundary and do not want to remember month lengths.
start of next year January 1 of next year Boundary phrases work with this, next, and last month or year.

5y -4m +3w -2d 5 years forward, 4 months back, 3 weeks forward, 2 days back Explicit plus and minus signs are applied to each unit. If the signs are mixed, Date Parser reports it as a mixed signed offset.

Note: Numeric dates use day/month/year. Named month dates can be day-first or month-first. In compact date offsets, m means months; type min for minutes and mon for Monday.

Understanding the result

Date results include the original input, the resolved date, and a short meaning. When it adds useful information, Date Parser also shows the calendar distance and the total day offset. Duration results show the resolved date and time, the converted duration, whether it is in the past or future, and the exact offset in seconds.
